AccuCold™ Refrigeration

SUMMIT's AccuCold™ division offers precise temperature conditions for the reliable storage of vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and other sensitive materials, with advanced design for optimum convenience in the medical and scientific markets. Products include a fully featured line of refrigeration and low temperature freezers, as well as an innovative data logger for steady temperature recording.

AccuCold™ Refrigerators and Freezers

SUMMIT AccuCold™ refrigerators and freezers offer the ideal storage solution for laboratories, hospitals, and other facilities with serious storage needs. Our compact and undercounter refrigeration is approved for commercial use and equipped with the features most requested by the scientific and medical community, including locks, temperature alarms and displays, digital thermostats, self-closing doors, hospital grade plugs, internal air circulation fans (refrigerators only), and heat sinks. The series includes:

24" wide all-refrigerators and matching all-freezers
Compact countertop all-refrigerators and all-freezers
ADA compliant undercounter models
Glass door display refrigerators
Low temperature (-20ºC) all-freezers

All ACCUCOLD™ models are UL listed, commercially approved (UL or ETL-S to NSF-7), and CalCode compliant

New Feature: Digital Thermostat

All AccuCold™ refrigerators and freezers are now equipped with a digital thermostat for added convenience and more precise temperature control.

Managing the temperature is as simple as touching a button, and because the thermostat is externally mounted, stored contents are further protected due to less time spent with an open door.

Temperature can be set for Celsius or Fahrenheit. Customers should specify desired temperature range when ordering their AccuCold™ model.

Safety Features

All ACCUCOLD™ models include high temperature alarms mounted on the door to audibly warn of any interior fluctuations. Each provides an external display so users can read the temperature without opening the door. A hospital grade cord (with "green dot" plug) is also standard, an especially important feature for high traffic areas where heavy mobile equipment may endanger wall outlets and cords.

Self-Closing Door

Each ACCUCOLD™ unit is equipped with a self-closing mechanism to ensure the door is not accidentally left open. Ideal for busy laboratory settings, where staff may not have the time to ensure doors are completely closed. For more convenience when loading and unloading refrigerators and freezers, doors will remain opened when opened at angles larger than 90º.

Trusted Security

Front locks are factory installed on all SUMMIT ACCUCOLD™ models for security you can depend on. Keyed locks are top mounted on all 24" undercounter units for additional convenience. As an upgrade, keypad locks (AC or battery powered) can also be installed as a key-free alternative for larger staffs with high security needs.

USB Temperature Logger

Make temperature recording a reliable, accurate, and convenient process with the AccuCold™ USB Temperature Logger. This easy-to-use device can be installed on any refrigerator or freezer to log interior temperature in 15 minute intervals. Data is saved on a USB flash drive for fast uploading and analysis in any PC or Mac.
